01Who we are
This site, noxvarek.com, is the official site of Nøx Varek, an independent music project. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit it, why, and what you can do about it.
02What we collect
Just browsing the site does not require any personal information from you. We only receive personal data if you choose to join the newsletter. Some technical data is also processed by the services described below.
03Newsletter
When you subscribe, we store your first name, last name, email address and country, together with the language of the page, the date and the consent you gave. To protect the form from spam we also keep a one-way coded version (hash) of your IP address, never the address itself. We use this data only to send you news about Nøx Varek, such as releases, videos and events. We never sell or rent your data, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
04Storage and retention
Newsletter data is kept in a database with our hosting provider, Hostinger. We keep it while you are subscribed and delete it within 30 days after you unsubscribe. If we use an email delivery service to send the newsletter, your name and email will be shared with it only for that purpose.
05Legal basis
The newsletter and the Meta Pixel are based on your consent, as provided by Brazil's LGPD (art. 7, I) and Europe's GDPR (art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing does not affect what was done before.
06Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)
We use the Meta Pixel to measure our campaigns and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you visit, Meta may receive information such as the pages you view, the buttons you click (for example pre-save and social media links), the language of the page, and technical data such as your IP address, browser and device. When you join the newsletter, the Pixel only records that a signup happened, never your name or email. Meta may place cookies in your browser, such as _fbp, and processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. The Pixel only runs if you click Accept in the cookie notice shown on your first visit; if you decline, it is never loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.
07Hosting and technical logs
Like any web server, Hostinger may record technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the visit and the page requested. This is used for security and to keep the site working.
08Fonts
The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.
09External links
The pre-save buttons lead to DistroKid, and the social icons lead to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Reddit. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of each of those services applies.
10Your choices
On your first visit a cookie notice lets you accept or decline the Meta Pixel, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Declining or blocking cookies does not stop the site from working.
11Your rights
Under laws such as the LGPD and the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, move or delete your newsletter data, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Requests about data collected by Meta should be made directly to Meta. For everything else, contact us.
12Children
The newsletter is not meant for children. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before subscribing.
